    Beng Mealea

The jungle temple of Beng Mealea (meaning “lotus pond”) is largely un-restored, its walls and towers burst apart with trees and creepers. While a wooden walkway guides visitors round the tumble-down structure, more able explorers can clamber through rubble-filled corridors and make their own discoveries in the ruins.
Beng Mealea, as we call it today, remains shrouded in mystery. Despite its large size, it’s not mentioned in any of the Khmer Empire’s inscriptions. Therefore, we don’t know when it was built, or by whom.

    Koh Ker Temple

Ancient Hindu temple with a unique pyramidal shape & panoramic views from the top.
